- I grew up in New Orleans, where I did my undergraduate degree in History and spent all of my free time singing in choirs. After evacuating NOLA during Hurricane Katrina, I settled in Washington, DC, where I worked at Georgetown University and pursued my Masters Degree in American Studies. I am currently living in Houston, TX and working in a non-profit agency. Like Carrie Bradshaw, I feel the need to write about being single and living in a big city...and venting about life in general.
